The Challenge : A leading Consumer Electronic device manufacturer needed to achieve on time and on budget a global market launch of 10 products in 12 languages.
Our Approach
We were engaged throughout the entire content lifecycle. As a result we were able to heavily leverage our translation technology workflow that responded to our client’s tight deadlines to deliver content into European and Canadian French, German, Chinese, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Greek, Russian, Norwegian, Swedish and Italian. Translation of Brochures, reports, articles, Technical User Manuals, Press Releases and Web content was a key part of this project.
We built stringent quality checks into the entire translation lifecycle. In line with our Quality Assurance Process, we created a glossary of our client’s content for each language combination. This allowed us to achieve consistency of terminology and brought greater leveraging across the whole language set, thereby facilitating predictable cost savings across all target markets.
In addition to technology ramp-up during release cycles, we were able to scale up quickly and adapt to sudden increases in volume. In emergency overflow situations where our client encountered an unexpected resource peak, we leveraged our Advanced Project Management Model to support our client's high-volume multi-language and multi-format content.
The Result
Value We Delivered : We thus delivered an extremely high volume of work within a compressed timeframe and at reduced rates. The client launched all products on time in all markets, thus accelerating revenue growth from foreign markets.
