Set up by the Public Works and Government Services Canada, the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) is a registration and compliance program that aims to regulate access to controlled goods in Canada. The program is chiefly concerned with preventing and detecting the unlawful examination, possession or transfer of items covered by the Canadian International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
The GCP is authorized and mandated by the Defence Production Act (DPA), along with the Controlled Goods Regulations, to strengthen Canada’s defence trade controls. This is enforced by the mandatory registration and regulation of all businesses and individuals who are involved in the possession, examination and transfer of controlled goods.
Our Controlled Goods Certification indicates that our processes satisfy the exacting regulations of the CGP. We are thus able to offer a high quality Controlled Goods certified translation service to businesses from the tightly regulated defence and aerospace industries. Choose ACCU Translations, and you can rest assured that all of your documents will be handled in the strictest of confidence.
What Makes Our Controlled Goods Certified Translation Service So Secure?
At ACCU Translations, we have gone to great lengths to develop completely failsafe disaster mitigation and contingency plans. It was partially in recognition of these measures that we were awarded our Controlled Goods Certification, and it is our strict adherence to safety and security protocols that makes us so uniquely qualified to act as a Controlled Goods certified translation partner to businesses in the defence and aerospace industries.
We go to great lengths to ensure the integrity of your documents. We make use of a virtual server farm at the highly secure Q9 facility in Toronto, which provides the highest possible levels of physical and data security.
